Precise Water Activity Measurement
Water activity is an important parameter when evaluating coffee stability and its behavior during storage. Omix Plus uses chilled-mirror dew-point technology and provides accuracy of up to ±0.005 Aw.
Measurements can be completed in approximately 30 seconds, making it practical for checking green coffee lots during receiving and storage.
Moisture and Density Analysis
With moisture measurement accuracy of up to ±0.1% and density accuracy of up to ±0.5 g/L, Omix Plus enables objective comparison between coffee lots and helps establish a consistent quality-control protocol.
Measurements can be used when receiving green coffee as well as for systematic monitoring during storage.
Agtron Roast Color Analysis
Omix Plus measures roast color in both whole roasted beans and ground coffee, with accuracy of up to ±0.1 Agtron.
Comparing these measurements helps roasters monitor batch-to-batch consistency and evaluate roast development with greater precision.
Bean Size and Volume Analysis
In addition to moisture and density measurements, Omix Plus provides information about screen size and bean volume, offering a more complete view of the physical characteristics of each coffee lot.
CoffeeOS and Data Management
Omix Plus connects with the CoffeeOS ecosystem, allowing measurement data to be imported, stored and visualized. Coffee professionals can build a measurement history for each coffee and compare results between lots and over time.
