IMS Competition filter basket B68 1T H24,5 E

IMS produce 3 baskets for which are 2mm narrower than the (70mm) standard baskets. Measuring 68mm rim to rim and 60mm internally, so they fit 58mm coffee tampers perfectly. Designed to fit Gaggia, Carimali, Cimbali and Reneka - they will also fit 70mm portafilters.

Like all IMS they are designed to exploit the whole coffee puck, have a smoother and higher gloss finish than a standard filter basket.which also facilitates drying and expulsion.
Its conical and circular holes with electro polished finish ensures  the best possible and consistent coffee extraction and the least amount of sediment.

 The shape was created by I.M.S. to obtain the proper ratio between the base and height of the coffee puck in relation to capacity. The lower part of the filter has a truncated cone shape. The middle section is connected to the upper body by means of specific corner rounding. This shape has been designed to exploit the whole coffee puck, and to facilitate drying and expulsion.
